A good watch. Aug 12, 2008 I'm on my second one of these, and I only had to replace the first one because I fell down stairs and the band became damaged, but held up for a good 3 or 4 months after it happened. Very sturdy and the battery lasts forever. The only criticism I can give it is that the lighter colored parts of the band discolor after a while, particularly on the inside of the wrist, but for a watch I can wear all the time, I'm extremely happy with it. It's sleek enough that I don't feel awkward wearing a sports watch all the time.

SHAME ON TIMEX Aug 06, 2008 This watch is advertised as a "triathlon" watch by Timex. It took on water the first time I took it in the pool! Timex customer service told me that you can't press the buttons when the watch is in the water!
Does anyone at Timex know what a triathlon is? I'm sorry, but if you call a watch a triathlon watch it means people are going to buy it to use swimming (getting splits, etc.) and they're going to need to press the buttons while the watch is wet! False advertising by Timex. They should be ashamed!

It isn't waterproof Aug 04, 2008 Despite claims, this watch is NOT waterproof. The whole reason I bought it is so I could wear it in the pool. After only a few swims it began taking on water and shorted out. I would NOT recommend this watch if you plan on getting it wet.

Fantastic Funtions, Great Watch, color comes off Jul 28, 2008 I love this watch, although its not the prettiest thing. It has all the functions I need and then some I'll never need. I love the practicality, the dual time zones, the multi-functional alarms. I can set an alarm to go off every week-day when my son gets out of school, and a separate timer that goes off only on Thursdays at a different time (early days). I can even set a third alarm if I need to!
The only real downer is that the paint/color or the silver part started rubbing off after a while which makes it look really cheap, and I am not fond of the neon yellow color for the top right light button.
NOT water proof Jul 24, 2008 I swam in this watch one time and the watch now has condensation in it. I had thrown away the packaging, so now I'm stuck. The watch is light and nice for running, but not a triathlon watch as it is marketed.
