My girlfriend has had this watch for a couple years now, I just saw that I should review the product. Movado is an awesome watch. I have had mine for 7 years and in many of rough environments and my watch still looks great. I only have changed the battery one time. So I got her one too and she loves it. Great product.

In the luxury watch world, I guess this is considered not that expensive. Well, I got it for less on ebay ($300) but by any standard, it is hard for me to imagine getting a better watch even if you spent thousands. This is beautiful looking and feeling plus keeps perfect time. I accidentally threw it in the drier once in my robe pocket. It survived but one of its pins came out. Movado and the dealer got me the necessary part, my husband put the new pin in and it worked perfectly again. I've had mine for over four years now and it is as fine as the day I bought it. It pays for itself because prior to this I was buying cheaper watches every six months. They always fell apart on me so I went out and bought another cheap one. So I was spending over a hundred a year on new watches each and every year. This solved my problem. Want a terrific gift for a woman? This is it.

All I can say is that I should of bought two,
bought it a year and a half ago for my now wife, the cost is now more then double, purchased it at $209.00 1/16/2008

I received this as a gift that was purchased at Amazon. I absolutely love this watch - because of it's simple style and quality!
I was a little worried about the warranty on it when I read another review that Amazon direct purchased watches weren't covered by it, even though the watch came with warranty information. So, I did some research and felt obligated to post this review, to let people know that though not listed on Movado's website as an authorized dealer, Movado says Amazon is an authorized retailer and it is covered by Movado's warranty. I haven't had to use the warranty(fortunately), but I was relieved to know that there is one, just in case.
